Stratix Corporation creates and manages mobility programs to transform mobile support for some of the most iconic brands around the globe. We are always excited to work with them. Recently, they challenged us to create a series of interactive videos that show various SmartMobile use cases across several industries.
Our first was titled “Imagine the Possibilities of a Connected Hotel” and featured how Stratix and one of their OEMs can improve collaboration, efficiency, and guest experience in the hospitality industry. You can check out the final video on Stratix’s website here (or watch it below).
Part of the challenge was selecting an interactive video player that would allow the viewer to drive the story and ensure that all viewing activity was tracked. We leveraged our video marketing platform development team to tie all of the clicks, plays and viewing statistics directly into Stratix’s Google Analytics. This allows the marketing team to report how viewers are interacting with the video and which use cases are the most popular.
Clearly, this video is extremely targeted by industry and organizational size. A specific advertising campaign leveraged short video ads that were produced at the same time the interactive video was produced. These targeted ads caught the attention of a major hotel chain that includes over 7,000 locations worldwide and a deal is in progress.
With the success of the first project, we have now completed another video featuring use cases of a Connected Restaurant experience (watch it here). We are currently in the production and planning phases for the next two projects with more to come.
For each project, vLink’s team collaborates closely with the Stratix marketing team to create the scripts, storyboards, various use cases, talent, and location needs. Our understanding of the technology and video production makes us uniquely qualified for projects like these.
Below is a fully functioning interactive version of the first project. If you are in the metro Atlanta area, you might recognize the hotel?
