It’s always a good day when our friends over at Revegy, creators of an account-based sales execution platform, give us a call to produce some content. They were in search of a fun and entertaining way to highlight and overview their software using visuals and storytelling.
If you are not familiar with Revegy, you should check them out (www.revegy.com). They are the creators of an account-based sales execution platform.
We started with a draft script developed by their internal marketing team. They also provided us with some video examples for various types of software that inspired them, and we got to work.
We enhanced the script and determined some key themes. To keep the video light and entertaining, we decided to comedically poke fun at some outdated industry standards to show the benefits of using Revegy’s software. We also dreamed up a “look” and treatment for the video.
We created a pseudo-realistic set to play up the idea that the old ways of doing things are not to be taken seriously. The monochromatic look turned out great. It required some in-camera and post-production magic to get the results we were looking for.
We hired an actress, ordered some props, and shot the entire thing, b-roll and all, in one of our studios. The entire project took less than 30 days and came in well under budget.
Revegy was thrilled and so were we.
So check it out, here is “Welcome to the 21st Century. Welcome to Revegy.”
You can see the video on Revegy’s homepage as well.
We love it when clients come to us with a general idea and some inspiration then let us take it from there. Our team of creatives are able to take a draft script and turn it into something we can all be proud of.
